The reason I invited you here today is to announce my candidacy for Sheriff because I believe St. Joseph County deserves experienced, just, and accountable leadership. Leadership that understands every level of law enforcement, on this department from the jail to patrol to training division and command level.
I have over 30 years in law enforcement experience, I have seen firsthand what works, what doesn’t and what happens when officers are not properly supported or prepared and when they are.
This role is about service, not politics. It’s about continuing to build a department that is prepared, ethical, and responsive to the people it serves.
